Clear rules for using extc, your account, community features, rankings and hardware finders.

01

Terms of Use

By using extc, you agree to use the service lawfully and responsibly. Spam, intentional exploitation of vulnerabilities, abusive automation and manipulation of rankings may result in content removal, invalidated results or account suspension. Features and rules may be updated as the service evolves. You are responsible for activity performed through your account.

02

Privacy

extc stores the information needed to operate the service, such as account and profile data, sessions, preferences, rankings, records, history, published content and security-related data. We do not claim to collect information the service does not use. Some technical requests may be processed by third-party services that support specific features.

03

Accounts and Profiles

Keep your credentials secure and do not attempt to access another person’s account. Public profiles and public community content may be visible to other users. Existing privacy controls are respected; when match history is hidden, it remains hidden according to the current product behavior.

04

Community Content

Do not use extc for spam, malicious content, severe harassment, service exploitation, abusive automated posting or manipulation of systems and rankings. Keep community use legitimate and respectful.

05

Community Limits and Moderation

Each account may create up to 4 posts and 8 comments in separate 24-hour periods that start with the first successful action. Deleting content does not restore usage. Authorized staff may permanently remove individual posts or comments, restrict publishing, suspend accounts or apply proportionate security measures when needed to protect the service and community.

06

Security and Abuse Prevention

For account security, abuse prevention and enforcement of bans, extc may process protected technical identifiers derived from Cloudflare-provided network information and a first-party device identifier. Raw network and device identifiers are not stored permanently for this purpose. Security records are limited to what is needed to operate these controls.

07

Rankings and Results

Rankings and records follow the rules of each mode. Invalid, fraudulent or bug-exploited results may be invalidated or removed. Existing anti-predict and validation systems may reject results when applicable; these Terms do not change game rules.

08

Training and Knowledge

Reaction, Aim Trainer and Knowledge are educational or recreational features, not medical, professional or diagnostic services. Demonstrations describe training concepts and may not reproduce every game, device or physical setup. Ranked and training modes remain subject to the rules displayed in the product.

09

Mouse Finder and Monitor Finder

The Finders are decision-support tools. extc maintains a structured hardware catalog compiled from suitable manufacturer, public, open and technical sources; the catalog may be updated manually or through controlled maintenance. When the catalog cannot return a reliable recommendation, an external search service and an AI fallback may be used. Recommendations rank technical fit first and may include a close match when no exact match exists; current store inventory is not a required ranking factor. Reference prices, availability and specifications can change, and ergonomics or product preference remains subjective. Confirm important information before purchasing.

10

Data Sources and Product Images

Parts of the hardware catalog may include data derived from BuildCores OpenDB, licensed under ODC-By 1.0, together with other appropriately used sources. The primary catalog prepares product imagery separately and keeps source metadata; active generations are designed to use validated transparent product assets stored by extc. A temporary visual fallback may still appear if an asset cannot be delivered. Product names and trademarks remain associated with their respective owners.

11

Search

Search lets you submit a free-text query for a direct answer produced using an external web-search service. Queries and recent answers may be processed or cached as needed to operate the feature and enforce its usage limits. Search results can change as online information changes and may be unavailable if the external service or the site’s safe usage allowance is unavailable.

12

Uploads, Retention and Account Deletion

Images and eligible video clips you choose to upload are stored to display the requested profile, group or community content. You must have permission to publish them. Removing content or permanently deleting an account triggers the cleanup behavior currently provided by the service, although limited security, moderation, integrity or backup records may be retained when reasonably necessary.

13

Third-Party Services

Some features may rely on third-party services for search, catalog updates, processing or infrastructure. Only the technical information required to provide the requested feature is sent when applicable; internal credentials and secrets are never part of the public interface.

14

Service Changes

extc may update, pause or discontinue features, limits and integrations to maintain security, reliability or product quality. Material changes to these terms should be reflected on this page with an updated date. Continued use after an update means the revised terms apply from that point forward.

15

Limitation of Liability

extc aims to provide useful and reliable tools, but uninterrupted availability cannot be guaranteed. Hardware recommendations are informational and purchasing decisions remain the user’s responsibility. Nothing here is intended to remove rights that cannot legally be waived.
